What the tool does
You upload a picture of a paper plan - a photo or a scan. The tool cleans the image up and reads the room labels together with their areas. Two things come out: a clean floor plan image and a "room - area" table you can correct by hand.
A listing with a plan looks more solid and removes half the questions from the follow-up conversation.
The tool is in the cabinet under AI tools > All tools > Floor plan.
What it costs
$1 per plan that is read. The monthly quota depends on your plan:
| Plan | Floor plans per month |
|---|---|
| Free | 1 |
| Start | 3 |
| Pro | 10 |
| Max | 25 |
Cleaning the image is free. You are charged only when the plan is actually read: if it could not be read, nothing is charged.
How to use it
Upload the picture
A photo of a paper plan or a scan will do. Shoot it straight, fully in frame and in daylight - whether the labels can be read depends on it.
Press Process
The tool cleans the image and reads the labels.
Check the table against the picture
The original and the recognised result are shown side by side. Values that came out unstable are flagged separately - check those first.
Save
The corrected table and the clean image are saved to the property.
What the summary shows
- Total area - if the plan itself states one.
- Sum of rooms - what you get by adding the rooms up.
- Number of rooms, how many of them have no area, and how many labels are in doubt.
If the sum of the rooms disagrees with the stated total, the tool says so - it is worth checking against the picture.
When a plan cannot be read
| Message | What happened |
|---|---|
| The picture is not a floor plan | It is a site plan, an elevation, a section, a photo, a render or a presentation page |
| The plan has no room labels or areas | There is nothing to read: the drawing is only lines |
| The labels could not be made out | The shot is skewed, dark or cropped - take it again |
Nothing is charged in any of these cases.
