Bulk Import of Listings and Leads

The import upload dialog

When you need it

With several hundred listings, filling in the same number of forms by hand makes no sense. Import takes a single file and creates all the properties, complexes, rentals or CRM leads from it at once.

Where to find it

Import lives next to the Add button on your lists. Press the arrow to its right and choose Import from file.

The Add button menu with the Import from file item

The menu is the same on every list where you work with your own records:

  • Real Estate > Properties, the "My listings" tab;
  • Real Estate > Rentals;
  • Real Estate > Complexes;
  • CRM - the leads board.

They all open the same upload dialog, where you choose what the file contains.

Import types

The type tells the platform what to look for in the file:

  • Mixed - works the rows out on its own, deciding for each one whether it is a property, a complex, a rental or a lead. Handy when an export from another system comes mixed.
  • Properties - sales listings only.
  • Complexes - new developments.
  • Rentals.
  • Leads - this option is not shown to everyone: it needs a verified broker, seller or developer account.

Import runs in four steps and you can stop after any of them: the session waits at the step where you left it. The list of unfinished sessions is in the same dialog.

What comes next

The steps themselves - upload, column mapping, row review and saving - are covered separately in The four import steps.

Common questions

Where do I find the import?

Next to the Add button on your lists: click the arrow to its right and pick Import from file. The menu is the same on Resale (the My listings tab), Rentals, New developments and the CRM board.

Which files does the import accept?

JSON, XLSX, XLS, CSV and XML, up to 50 MB, one file at a time.

What if everything is mixed together in the file?

Choose the mixed import type - it reads the rows itself and decides for each one whether it is a listing, a development, a rental or a lead.

Why is there no Leads option?

It is not available to everyone: it needs a verified broker, seller or developer account.

Can I stop halfway through an import?

Yes. The import runs in four steps, and the session waits at the step where you left it. Unfinished sessions are listed in the same window.
